About Axel
My work spans three things that mostly share the same DNA: building privacy-first platforms, advising small businesses on the latest technology, and creating free tools and resources the neurodiverse community needs.
What I’ve built
I founded Tessolari, a peer-to-peer platform connecting neurodiverse people with their allies. I built Static Host UK, a privacy-first website hosting platform. I created Access to Benefits Assistance and Autism Help — two free resources for navigating UK systems that aren’t always built with their users in mind.
What I advise on
Through Be Braver Now, I advise small and mid-sized businesses on AI governance: how to adopt AI without losing control of their data, their security, or their judgement. As part of the Biztech group of consultants, I work alongside other independent advisers on shared client projects.
What ties it together
All of it traces back to a single belief: privacy is a human right, not a box to tick for the regulator. Whether I’m building a tool or advising a board, the question is always whether the system respects the people it’s built for, or extracts from them.
Being autistic and ADHD shapes how I work, and it shows: I talk straight and cut the waffle, I’m organised and methodical, and I stay focused on the problems I genuinely care about rather than whatever’s trending.
